AccorHotels has taken a stake in Oasis Collections and purchased Onefinestay, two platforms for the renting of luxury apartments and villas complete with hotel services. What a great opportunity to offer a new travel experience to its clientele!

In order to expand its range of services and pursue its digital transformation, AccorHotels  is now moving into the collaborative economy, by becoming nothing less than leader on the market for private rental properties complete with comprehensive and refined hotel services.

Then in April, AccorHotels announced its purchase of Onefinestay, often referred to as the “luxury Airbnb”… The key difference being that this renowned residential rental platform does not content itself with simply putting owners in touch with travellers. It offers a range of services stretching from personalised greetings to the provision of a team available round the clock via an iPhone left at the property for the guests during their stay. Launched in London in 2010, Onefinestay manages an assortment of 2,600 dwellings in the hippest districts of London, Paris, New York, Los Angeles, etc. With the takeover having been concluded for a sum of 148 million euros, AccorHotels plans to invest another 64 million euros in order to accelerate the firm’s international development, with 40 new destinations now expected over the next 5 years.

Oasis Collections

It was in February of this year that AccorHotels first announced its acquisition of a 30% share in Oasis Collections.

With its innovative accommodation offer, the latter allows its clients to experience authentic stays in private rental properties, while at the same time benefiting from high-quality hotel services (on-site concierge system, access to exclusive clubs, the opportunity for accommodation owners to forge links with international travellers, etc.). Founded in 2009 in Buenos Aires, Oasis Collections currently has a portfolio of 1,500 properties spread across 18 destinations in Latin America, the United States and Europe. And thanks to AccorHotels, the company is now aiming to be present in 70 major cities by 2019.

“Not forgetting the Adagio aparthotel…

In addition to these two new acquisitions, AccorHotels is also offering, through its Adagio brand, stays from 4 nights to several weeks or months in studios and apartments. They all have a fitted kitchen, lounge with TV, Internet access and a bathroom. What’s more, for added convenience and relaxation, Adagio provides a wide range of services at most of its Aparthotels, such as breakfast, laundry, ironing, daily cleaning, parking and even home-delivered meals!”
