A more attractive platform

What does this mean in concrete terms? Thus far, the booking site has been limited to the AccorHotels brands (Sofitel, Pullman, MGallery, Novotel, Mercure, Ibis, etc.). But by throwing open its platform to independents, the group is now aiming to treble its hotel offering from 3,700 to around 10,000 establishments by 2018. This will expand its service to customers and ensure a more even geographical spread.

Travelers will benefit too, as in contrast to its competitors, AccorHotels plans to propose a selective offer rather than a comprehensive one. Partner hotels will thus be chosen on the basis of certain qualitative criteria (location, ratings and comments on TripAdvisor, etc.). A visit will also be arranged by the group in order to verify the quality of service.

And as the icing on the cake, nights booked at independent hotels through the site will also earn club members loyalty programme points.
