AccorHotels is expanding its digital dynamic with the launch of its own mobile app. From now on, all apps from the group’s brands will be grouped together under a single banner, with the aim of offering customers an enriched and unique experience!
From 10 apps to just 1
Thus far, AccorHotels has offered its customers 10 separate apps for its different brands (nine for iOS and Android and one for iPad). Now though, the group is taking a digital departure by opting to merge them in a single mobile app for smartphones and tablets. Called “AccorHotels”, this app covers all of the hotels available on the booking portal. And the purpose of this change? To offer customers high added value in terms of usage and practicality, and to become one of the top three travel apps among smartphone users.
An enhanced user experience
The new app offers AccorHotels customers the option of being supported at every stage of their journey: when preparing their trip (storage of information such as flights and train tickets, online check-in and checkout service, summary of current bookings), during their stay (access to digital media and destination guides, gradual roll-out of services such as the option of ordering a taxi or room service) and after they leave (loyalty programme management). Basically, it offers everything required to transform your mobile into your essential travel companion!
What else ?
But the AccorHotels app’s functionality doesn’t end there… It will also enable customers to make one-click payments (when the bank details have been entered previously, the purchase can be made with a single click, so you don’t need to take out your bank card in a public place). The app will also be constantly improved via an update every three weeks, in order to maintain its optimum functionality.
